Exhibition Opening Multiples - Tamarillo Gallery 18 November 2008

Our Multiples group show opened in Wellington last night. There was 9 participating artists of different media. Including myself Alison Laird and several other jewellery artists: Sarah Read, Hannah Efford and Suni Gibson.  The work was an exercise in making multiple items with a view to a commercial market.  Everyone had a different way of responding to this.  I would always like to make individual, unique pieces, so even if I make a series of similar pieces, they will all be different.  The ideas for this work came out of a body of work I have been working on this year and will be shown at Pataka Gallery from 28 November 2008.
